Kingsley A. Boateng, Ph.D., is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Rural Ghana Missions. A dedicated philanthropist, he has a long record of service and leadership within nonprofit organizations. He currently serves as President of the Koforidua Sectech Old Students Association (USA) and as a Deacon at the Philo Road Church of Christ in Urbana.
Professionally, Dr. Boateng is the Assistant Director of Bioscience Research at the Carl R. Woese Institute
for Genomic Biology (IGB Advanced Imaging Core Facility) at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at Heartland Community College in Normal, Illinois.
Dr. Boateng has been joyfully married to his wife, Meldomi, for 25 years, and together they are the proud parents of three children - Audrey, Kojo, and Elssy. He brings to the board a combination of scientific expertise, organizational leadership, and a deep commitment to meaningful service.
